Edgewood College’s Master of Arts in Business Communication and Leadership

Business Communication involves the effective and appropriate exchange of information in a formal setting. In this program, students will strengthen the skills, strategies, and behaviors used to convey messages, ideas, and information in a clear, concise manner from face-to-face settings to digital campaigns. Students will also develop skills to inspire and motivate individuals and teams to achieve desired outcomes.

 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate advanced written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas, concepts, and information in a business context.
  • Apply interpersonal communication skills to build and maintain professional relationships within diverse business environments.
  • Develop the ability to communicate across cultures and diverse work settings.
  • Develop proficiency in crafting professional business documents and delivering impactful presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Apply digital media platforms and technologies for effective business communication, including social media, multimedia presentations, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Develop leadership skills through effective communication techniques, including persuasive communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
